Ken Huber Receives 2019 Founder's Award

Longtime MLRRC member Ken Huber was the 2019 recipient of the Founders Award. Ken was recognized for his service to the club as membership chairman, as a former board member, and for his contributions to the construction of our current layout. Ken is also in charge of our collection of antique and Standard Gauge locomotives and rolling stock and is widely recognized as an expert on prewar Lionel® trains. He has repaired and restored many fine examples of vintage Lionel® rolling stock and motive power. Ken received the award from club founder Gerry Brettschneider at the recent MLRRC Winter Party in January 2020.
